Virtual Couples Nutrition Counseling
Let's work together
Together we will spend 5 sessions (90-minute each for 5 consecutive weeks) covering all things nutrition. We’ll dive deep into your medical histories, physiology, eating patterns, lifestyle, mindset and more to create a personalized program for each of you. Embarking on this journey with a partner can help you both achieve success. Not only can you provide support and accountability for one another, but I often see that committing to health together can be a positive turning point in couples’ relationships.
Here is what you can expect:
Session 1 – Thorough Intake + Program Onboarding
In our first session, we will dive deep into your lab work, medical, family and dietary history. We will discuss any particular health conditions, setbacks and establish each of your health-related goals. From this thorough nutrition assessment and the intake forms that you both will complete prior to the first session, I will have everything I need to create a comprehensive program for each of you. These plans will be specific to each individual, but they will also simplify ways of meeting both of your needs and streamlining things in the kitchen.
Session 2 – Everything You Need to Succeed
In this session I will explain the ins and outs of what I create for both of you and together we will make sure that you are all set up for the weeks ahead. You each will also gain access to a complimentary food tracking app that makes reaching your goals so much more accessible!
Session 3 – Kitchen + Pantry Discovery
During this session, through Facetime or Zoom, you will guide me through your refrigerator, freezer and pantry. This is a great opportunity for us to discover why certain items are either health-promoting or not. I will teach you how to read a food label and you will learn tips and tricks that I have implemented into my own kitchen. You will also receive a list of some of my go-to items to make cooking delicious and nourishing.
Session 4 – Your Relationship with Food, Stress + Strategies
Your relationship with food is one of the most important factors when it comes to your health goals. Together we will discuss patterns, obstacles or struggles you have around food. I will teach you a few of my favorite practices that helped me improve my relationship with food to help you reach your goals. During this session we will review your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your program.
Session 5 – Detoxification, Dining Out, Sustained Progress + More
In our final session, I’ll make sure that you have all of the tools, resources and information that you need to set yourself up for success. We will talk about a few final, but very important details like detoxification, stress management and tips to keep you on track and feeling good! Lastly, we will discuss next steps and follow-up to ensure long-term improvement.
